I established my company Good Times DJ in 1992 and have entertained many groups and organizations. As an owner operated disc jockey company, not only do you get quality service, it means you have my sole commitment to provide you with the best service for your business or event. I specialize in details, going above and beyond your expectations to coordinate with your vendors and provide you with a worry-free event.

Although many of my clients do not have time to meet with me, I encourage you to set up a meeting in person so that we can discuss each important detail for your event. I will take notes and discuss all of the possibilities for your event.
 

Memphis DJ Jim Stacy History

DJ Jim Stacy started in 1986 in Naperville, IL and remained in the disc jockey business till 2000. During his time in Illinois, he had played for thousands of functions.

Events included were Weddings, Grand Openings, Class Reunions, Car Shows, Block Party, Graduation, Christmas Party, and many more. On the large scale of events he has played for were Political, Corporate, and Non Profit Organizations. He has been requested to travel to many locations in his career to provide his talent in music; just to mention a few like Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, St. Louis, Tunica, MS. and Biloxi, MS.

In 2000, Jim had to make a family decision that relocated him to Biloxi, Mississippi. Since his move to Biloxi, he has been reestablished and provided his talents in many functions on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He has played for several Casinos, Organizations, Company Picnics, and many Weddings. To highlight a few of the events, you may have seen him at Treasure Bay Casino, Mardi Gras Floats, Crusin’ The Coast VIP Sponsors Dinner, and Imperial Palace Casino. Imperial Palace hired him full time to provide music in The Mai Tai Lounge and Poolside on Saturdays.  His Talent was requested in Tunica, MS. at the Gold Strike for a Political Event and Company Functions. Jim is always willing to lend a helping hand with his experience like when St. Martin High School ask if he could provide the sound system and microphones for their Talent Show. His knowledge in music goes back as far as most of us can remember. His categories of music to choose from includes Big Band, Jazz, Blues, R&B, Classic Country, Country, Classic Rock, Rock, Hip-Hop, Dance, Pop, Irish, Greek, Polkas, Cajun, Zydeco, Beach and so many more. He is sure to have most of your favorites. In 2003, Jim said it was getting so hard to carry all the music to each event, he went to the computer age of putting his collection in MP3 format. This has proven to be a great advantage for him. With just a few strokes on his keyboard, requests are easy to find.

In 2005, Jim Stacy relocated to Horn Lake Mississippi due to Hurricane Katrina. This has not affected his ability to serve the Mississippi Gulf Coast area but has allowed him to expand coverage to include most of the Mid south including Memphis Tennessee and surrounding areas. Since his move to the Memphis, Mid-South area some of the events have nicknamed him Memphis DJ Jim. In 2007, Jim updated his equipment by investing into the very latest in professional audio technology from Bose. The L1™ Sound System by Bose is a gigantic step in loudspeaker technology and has a magnificent sound. This equipment is far superior to standard disc jockey equipment regardless of the size of the event. The Bose will deliver a clear sound with clarity an elegant, classy, and a professional appearance.
